| I don't have time to update this blog anymore, and i probably won't use it much... I use MySpace now...
I LOVE YOU ALL!!! | | |
| So, the newest is that Amy and I have another roommate for a while. Our friend Jason Walker is living with us for a while while he is looking for a place. He moved in with a friend not knowing that there were cockroaches also living there; the first night he had a roach crawl in his ear and that was it! Lets just say that place was not very human being friendly... so he opted out of living there. It really is fun having him live with us... it's basically like living with one of my brothers again. I mean I knew him back in the OH and we moved to LA around the same time, and we hang out all the time. He basically lived at our house anyways cause he would come over and hang out and eat our food and crash on the couch... now he helps buy food and does dishes... LOL! Anyways it's temporary and it's cool.
Lets see, what else. I am running a half marathon this weekend! ...well, I haven't really trained for it because I've been super busy with school... that dang elliptical doesn't do an excessive amount of training for long distance runs. Oh well, we'll see what actually comes to fruition.
I also realized that I might not be able to come home for Christmas, which would be really sad! I am transferring to CSLA for winter quarter, and b/c I am changing from semesters to quarters I am losing a couple weeks of winter break, whereupon I would probably work and make a lot more money than I am now with classes. I cut back at work so I could go to school, and that also means my checks are a little cut. SO, I might not be able to come home for break. Too bad I don't have rich grandparents who give me lots of money so I could fly home... but wait... I... OHH right! LOL. Yeeah. So, we'll see. Could be a sunny Christmas at the beach. Weird. Who knows. Also, it is quite unlikely that Dave will be coming back from London for Christmas. ...and for the record Bebe I DO WANT to come home!
I should be studying right now. Bye.

| Lets just say that the past four days have been hilarious! Thursday night the guys aka Rob, Jason and Chris came over and we watched the OC... and Jason bought a new car! Rock on Jase! Friday first of all I had off work which was amazing and quite unusual. Amy, Chris and I went to the beach and then I spent a few hours leisurely shopping at the mall. Then that night Chris came over and the three of us played "7th grade games" till Rob and Jason came over after the "my chemical romance" concert. The games continued... and Rob left his phone at our house and Jason thought I was more of a dork than I am. That's top secret info. Saturday after work Amy and I went to the gym... girls have fun at the gym ya know. At like 9:30 pm Rob came over and then the three of us went over to Chris' house, chilled with Lynn and Brandon and then headed towards the beach. We went to the Broadway cafe on the promenade and then walked down to the beach... where I might add it was make out night in santa monica according to the youngins we came across. I enjoyed the smell of the cigar the guys smoked... oh how I love the smell of smoke... strange as it is. Nevertheless, our night continued with a bunch of wrestling in the sand and um some getting pulled into the ocean and having more sand inside my ears and hair than ever before. Yeah Amy and I hung blankets on top of our blinds so we wouldn't be woken up by anything this morning. Then today, what shall I say: Amy and I went grocery shopping, where upon I ran into Carla Browning... she's so great! Then Amy and I went to the beach, talked to my sisters on the phone, and then left when it dropped to like five degrees. Well, basically it got cold. I know... we're weather snobs... tough life. Then we went to church... late... that was all me... as usual... we had a two year anniversary for Kairos. Kai (our canvas group) did a random skit that Amy and I didn't even know about... guess the peeps liked it. After church, we (Me, Amy, Rob, Matt, Rob S., Hikari, Chris and Jason) went over to Rob's for the sunday night DH party. (yes, desperate housewives)... it's just another excuse to hang out for all of us. After DH and Grey's Anatomy, a water fight commenced. Well, Amy decided to dump a cup on me... then I don't even know who threw next... but it became another water/wrestling fight between Rob and I. Of course the fact that I can bite means nothing because he just pins me to the ground and all I can do is attmpt to retaliate. That reminds me Oh so much of growing up... DAVE... and STEVE!!! I do love my brothers! Anyways, I got carried to the shower... not EVEN fair to have two guys dump me in the shower. As if I could do a thing! OH, yes and Amy and I picked out, by default I might add, our new song for this year. And we have been saying the exact same things at the same time... we're becoming ummm silly roomies! So, I had coffee tonight and that's why I can't sleep. It's really almost 2:30 am... I do need to go back to bed... I already laid in bed for a while then got up to bake cookies and do my laundry!!! Sweet dreams for EVER! | | |

Sky diving yesterday was AWESOME! We even did five somersaults right after jumping out! I enjoyed it a lot more this second time because I knew what to expect, and I looked out over the vastness of my surroundings. I wasn't even nervous this time either... craziness! SWEEEET!! None of the four of us who jumped got hurt! It was BEAUTIFUL... I was amazed by God's incredible creation! Just do it! Jed, my friend, you were in my heart!

tonight I remember why I truly deeply desire to be a nurse. there was a car accident out on our street tonight. his mercedes side swiped at least five or six parked cars (gratefully missed mine by a couple) and then crashed into a bmw. he lay motionless on the cold of the street except for the moments his body convulsed from the momentary shocks from the defibrillator. after minutes of attempts from the medics the young guy left in the ambulance still not breathing. something struck me. those moments that medics and nurses and doctors live everyday... they actually mean something enourmous. they mean life and death. that makes me want to study. even if right now that means philosophy, nutrition, and english. soon enough it will be a person rushed into the er from a car accident. the medics have done all they can... now it's up to you. thank you God for reminding me of more than me.
